The chess and backgammon tournament brought together dozens of people and guests of the village! Once again, we were reminded that the community center is the heart of our community—a place that fosters connections and brings people closer together. Participants competed in a spirit of fair play and great fun. We were delighted to meet people who have bought homes here and are becoming part of our close-knit community life! The winners walked away with well-deserved honors, while all attendees enjoyed prizes and refreshments. The evening concluded in the most beautiful way—with a screening of a wonderful Bulgarian film that deeply moved us and stirred up cherished memories!
Nikolovo Celebrates Enyovden
Enyovden—a day of healing, rejuvenation, and magic. On this day, the Bulgarian people celebrate the birth of St. John the Baptist. For centuries, our people have connected with the herbs of Enyovden, offering thanks to the Earth and the Sun for this gift. Gathering herbs before sunrise and washing in the dew hold the key to health for everyone. It is truly magical when you believe and show respect—when you preserve the wisdom of your ancestors. We invite all fellow villagers to celebrate Enyovden together, with gratitude and joy 🍀 "For every ailment, there is an herb."
